I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  So proud of the elementary archery team coming in 2nd and of the basketball teams for how hard they worked all season regardless if they won this weekend!  Middle school boys play again Tuesday night I believe, let's try to support them if possible.

If you were absent today: I posted the vocabulary lesson in the vocab. folder on edmodo.  You can complete it on a loose leaf piece of paper and turn it in tomorrow.

Religion:  We discussed the images media portrays.  Some are positive and some negative.
If you did not finish this in class finish it for homework
1.  Read p. 23 Family Life book
2. Explain what message the action movie on p.23 is trying to promote.
3.  Reflect: think about what rules your family has for watching movies, tv and listening to music.  How do these rules help promote respect and dignity of the person?
4.  Create a list of guidelines for reading, watching, and listening to the mass media.


Science: We discussed our upcoming science fair.  All information is on Edmodo in their backpacks.  Please find the timeline and print it out so that you are aware of deadlines.

Social Studies:  Read lesson 3 in Chapter 5 and be prepared for a quiz.
