Wow!  We sure had a busy day after the holiday break:)

In Science we have begun learning about minerals and the Mohs hardness scale.  We will be trying our hands out in identifying minerals very soon.

In Social Studies we discussed our upcoming project and found out what groups we are in.  We discussed our first test that will be next Wednesday, September 10.  We went over the study guide and learned when that is due - Monday, September 8.

Religion we are continuing learning about the Bible and putting our Bible notebook together.  We are getting proficient with utilizing a Bible.

We had recess and recycled too!  Fun day:)  Check out the pictures of the classes holding Timmy, can you find your student?

Homework 9-3-14

Science: answer 3 questions that are posted on Edmodo. Due Thursday
Social Studies: Test review due Monday Sept. 8, Test Wednesday Sept. 10
Math: workbook p. 4 and a worksheet
Religion: if it did not get finished in class, finish putting worksheet in notebook and complete worksheet.  Double check to ensure the Table of Contents is up to date, each page has a heading and page number.

Also, if your child does not have scissors at school please send a pair in, we will use them often.

***If you have volleyball and football schedules please send them to me.  I know Volleyball will end sooner than football and there are several teams, I really would like to see your child shine out of school too:).

Thanks for all your support thus far, these kids are so special and have so much to offer.  A great group of students for sure!
