Happy March! Spring has to be just around the corner:)
It was so nice to see each of you during conferences last week. Thank you for your willingness to meet and to be a part of the education with your child. I also hope all of you had a wonderful break and are ready for the long haul till spring break!
We have much going on this week and the next couple weeks. Please read the blogs closely so you can stay informed.
* Terra Nova practice tests this week
* Field trip tomorrow, students should wear their PE uniforms with their sweat pants. They may not wear just shorts.
* Play practice for our Living Stations play begins today!
*Terra Nova testing begins next Monday, please be sure your child gets plenty of rest and eats a good breakfast!
* Due to several students being out on March 11 for the state archery tournament, there will not be Terra Nova testing that day.
Science: We finished reading the chapter on cells and will work on guided notes this week. The classes have been told to expect a quiz later in the week. We also observed our plant growth and the process of phototropism
Social studies: We used context clues to find meanings of the vocabulary words for Chapter 6 in social studies. Chapter 5 test Wednesday
Religion: We worked on our parts for the Living Stations play
Vocabulary: We extended our learning of the prefixes a, ab, abs. Test Thursday
Math: SS #7&8 due Friday and workbook p.48 due Wednesday
Reading: read 30 minutes
Music: recorder practice minutes due
