Hello everyone! Hope you are staying warm these last couple of days.
We sure have that flu bug going around here, we will sanitize desks and encourage the kiddos to wash hands.
Today your children begged me to let them buy things for the wax museum, so...I agreed to let them spend up to $10.00:). They were ecstatic, you would have thought they were given hundreds of dollars, haha. Love these kids, they make me smile and laugh. I love the enthusiasm they have for learning and being creative!
Social Studies: Your children rocked it in social studies today. They learned how to record their presentations on chirbit for our Wax Museum and to make the recording into a QR code. Every one of them were focused and on task the entire class time to get these made. They collaborated when necessary and asked questions to finish this part of the project. On Tuesday next week they will create the final parts of the project and then we will have a dress rehearsal on Friday next week.
Science: Yesterday it was a block class and today we had social studies as a block class, so no science today.
Religion: We are learning about sacramentals.
Homework:
Math: math 1- textbook p. 141 19-31
math 2 - 139 odds
Lit/LA: reading logs due tomorrow, projects due the 15th or 22nd
Science: finishing investigations, notebooks will be due next week
Social Studies: costumes and any props due next Friday
Religion: expect a quiz over readings this week
